The former leather factory is situated right next to the river Drava, on its left bank. It is protected as a monument, more precisely as an industrial cultural heritage. The building was built in the 17th century and was typical for the city outskirts. It is the only preserved industrial building within the historic city centre. The city municipality of Ptuj wishes to renovate and expand the building, which would serve the public as a place where people could socialize and spend their spare time.
